These are sweet computers. I bought one for a friend. Nice and tiny and look sexy!

Thanks for the feedback Homer :) I have the previous model to the E520 it's so very whisper quiet, cool running and the build quality is very good too.

I should add though that if you have it vertical the DVD drive can be a bit noisy on start up. That's more of a fault with running a DVD drive on its side though. Once it revs up it's nice and quiet again.

Yeah that'a a good point :) The E521 in the original post is mounted vertically, where as my E520 is a wider case and so the drives are horizontal.

On saying that, the Samsung DVDRW I added to it, does the rev up thing before it settles into play or write discs.

If you go to the small business site for dell - you can get the same machine with a freebie upgrade to the 19" flatpanel for the same price as the one you've listed pow. I tried to see whether I could upgrade it to the core 2 duo and apply the $150 off discount voucher we've got listed but it wouldnt take it. Must only apply to machines sold as core 2 not upgraded otherwise you would have got the core 2 for $50 extra.

Btw - I'm assuming your referring to the C521 - not the E. You've got the E in the title and the C in the body

Yeah :) I messed up it's the C521 not the E Thanks for pointing that out ;)

Is there a problem with adding tags? As I thought I put the e-Value code in there.
  • pow umop apisdn2007/02/12 08:07:41
They're in there when I try to edit but not when the deal's submitted.
  • admin2007/02/12 08:40:47
    how do you mean pow?
  • pow umop apisdn2007/02/12 08:51:38
The tags added are showing on the front page, but not in the forum I think.
