Coles - Maglite LED Torch - $29

Posted By: blondieo, posted 2009/10/24 13:29
This looks like a good torch in the Coles catalogue (page 17).

It runs a 3 watt LED off four D-cell batteries (Duracell included). Variable throw and flood.

Spare bulb stashed safely in the tailcap.

They were on sale for $39 a while ago, now reduced to only $29. I'm going to pick up two or three to keep one in the car and one in the house.

They're very durable torches - handle being dropped and submerged very well and throw a good light, but they do tend to chew through batteries.

None available at my local Coles. Doh! Can anyone think of a store likely to stock Maglites that would price match?

Couldn't find any at my store either. But I did get the 16 Pack EveryReady Gold batteries.

i found none of these at my local store. They seem to have a knack for doing this!

Some stores would. Officeworks, 1st Choice Liquor, David Jones and Bunnings will price match sale items. Unfortunately I don't think that any of these stores sell Maglites :(

I bought 2 today at Coles Broadway Shopping Centre Sydney. The torches were hidden in the bottom shelf. They have 3 left!
