Clearance sale at Pumpkin Patch - loads of items $5

Pumpkin Patch are having a sale at the mo - online - and there are quite a few items that are $5. Nearly everything I have looked at is over 50% off so might be a good time to stock up for next summer

    Placed my order 2 weeks ago for 10 items....received an email today indicating that they were out of stock with some of them (didn't say which ones). So I called up Customer Service and they only had 1 of the 10 items!!!!! Amazed that it took 2 weeks to let me know that, and quite annoyed because I now have no present for the recent birth of a baby....and could have dealt with that on the weekend had I known that this order was just a waste of time.

    Hope other buckscoopers are luckier with their orders than I was....

    That is very very dissapointing, I would be extremely annoyed. To get only 1/10 items is shocking... sellers should be forced to implement systems whereby their stock levels are kept up to date, otherwise I think that they're misleading buyers.

    Definitely email them Creeno. 1 item out of ten is totally unacceptable. Im sorry it turned out that way. Was very tempted to order from them but glad i didnt now.

    Please do that... they need to be told. I had the same experience with Identity Direct recently and not only did I not get most of the items I ordered, they also overcharged me. Customer service were unhelpful and I ended up just letting the matter go because I seemed to be dealing with a bunch of morons :mad: :(

    I have the same experience, I placed my order on 20 March and rang them on 2/3 April to check on the status of my order (I did not receive the email mentioned by Creeno) and the lady told me that my order will be processed in the next 10 business days and I even checked that my postal address is right and there is no mention about the items being out of stock. I waited and waited and I decide to ring them again today, all I get is "sorry the items 5 items you have ordered we only have two". Then I asked them if someone should at least notify us she said they did send an email on 1 April which I never did receive. I then told her that I rang on the 2/3 April and no one told me anything about out of stock and reassured me that my order will be posted in 10 working days. I find this pretty unacceptable and I have now send them an email after seeing that I am not the only one.

    I like to think that where we get a name and shame thread like this one that someone from the merchant will notice it and do something about it.

    Surprises me when we find out that merchants do actually monitor this site. Its good.

    When you look around on some other forums it appears that there are similar stories with Pumpkin Patch. I don't see why it should take them that long to know if an item is in stock or not unless they have an atrocious stock management system.
    I hope that it is not because when they have these sorts of sale they actually have such low levels of stock that in a day they are sold out and then try to see if they can find extra .... somewhere ..... :(

    Tell me about it same i ordered as soon as sale started ordered about 20 items, size 2 and 7, most i worked outfits out. Go the email after i had sent two sayings its over 14 days now where is my order. Finally yesterday i call. So where is my order, we are overloaded but its coming oh and a few things are out of stock. Umm try 4 things are in stock. 16 items were going to be missed and she says to me i ill refund your postage, no thanks, your sending me things that are usless as i had outfits for my girls presents. Never again thumbs down for me, very dissapointed:mad:

    OH and here is another little hint - so they went and billed me even tho i cancelled the order said they would refund never did had to call today then she says ok so its $10 NOOOO its $25.00 seriously not worth the trouble

    UPDATE. Had the $25.00 refunded on the 18th APril and guess what 1st May they took another $22.50 off my credit card, ive called and they are refunding BUT how many people are having the same error and miss out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thumbs down

    I cancelled my order with them as they only have 2 out of the 5 items I ordered and the lady said the order will be cancelled. Two days ago I got a parcel with 3 of the 5 items I ordered and I realised they charged my credit card for the amount due. As I can still use the items sent to me I decided to keep them but I think they are not very organised and there seem to have a communication break down somewhere. I am still pretty disappointed with the entire experience.

    That is one communication breakdown alright :eek: You would think that Pumpkin Patch would be big enough to be able to handle that sort of thing but I guess not.
    So I guess you wont be shopping with them again Hexhex??
