Cellarmasters - $149 for $372 worth of wine + free Crown/Corona/Sparking + $50 off voucher

Posted By: ntowill, posted 2010/11/02 08:32
Cellarmasters have a deal at the moment. Can either buy 10 wines for $99 (normally about $150) plus get a free case of Crown or Corona beer or 3 bottles of sparkling wine.

Or (better value) is the top shelf wine which is $149 for 12 wines (normally between $304-372 depending on whether you select the white or red or mix of mines) plus get a free case of Crown or Corona beer or 3 bottles of sparkling wine.

With the $149 deal, you can also use the $50 voucher (minimum $120 spend) which I posted previously. So it works out $99 for up to $372 worth of wine and up to $55-60 worth of beer.

Delivery fee is $5.99 to most metro places (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney) or $7.99 to most other places (some country areas are more). Also a $1 delivery guarantee fee. Total cost for most would be $105.95. BARGAIN!! Too late to get for Melbourne Cup, but great for Xmas coming up!

    Very good deal ntowill.
  • hofrad2010/11/02 18:52:28
cant use the voucher with it. I tried.
  • artemishebe2010/11/02 19:56:10
I just used the voucher and it worked. Did you try it with the free beer or free sparkling option?
I choose the free sparkling option as those particular beers really don't appeal to me.
It does say in the information about the voucher that it isn't valid on free beer offers so maybe if you choose the free beer option that could be why.

I used it on the free beer (the Crown beer to be precise). I suspect you may have tried to use it on the $99 case? The voucher has a $120 minimum spend so use it on the $149 case and it brings it down to $99.

Just note that it says no free beer deals included in this....sorry, didn't read this fully when I put an order in. Will see if they cancel my order or not? Wonder if it is still ok to use with the free champers one though?

They always say you can't use it with free beer offers. I've never heard of one actually being cancelled yet though. Even if it is cancelled, you haven't lost anything - worth a try....

they phoned me yesterday because one of the wines was out of stock. They have no Corona left, but they do have Crown, and the $50 off voucher is OK to use. Confirmed it on the phone.
    Thanks OP.

Wonder if they are updating the deal ??

FYI, I just got a dispatch email for my order...so they didn't cancel it with the $25 BHG voucher used on the $99 deal (with the free beer).

Thanks again ntowill for the deal.

I caved and placed an order for the $99 reds. with the $25 discount. With the shipping it was $80.60.
They have advertised now that they have run out of Corona, I knew i shouldnt have procrastinated. But a case of Crownies is still alright in my books!. Thanks for the original post. This is a great deal.
  • fairybelle2010/11/10 22:09:24
But..... after I placed the order.... it said that they would be in touch in regards to the shipping costs and the freight times?
  • ntowill2010/11/10 22:48:52
FYI I got my delivered in 3-4 business days. Actually left their warehouse the day after I ordered it! I was happy anyway 
  • roomer2010/11/11 22:34:05
brilliant, thanks for the bhg sweetner
  • fairybelle2010/11/14 18:40:08
I got an email on the 11/11 stating that my order was shipped.
then inside the email it said it would be dispatched from the warehouse on 13/11? Where abouts are Cellarmasters located? Anyone know??
  • Donkey2010/11/14 19:11:57
no idea where their main distrib centre is fairybelle.
  • kickling2010/11/15 11:02:15
Main office is in Sydney, Bondi Junction. If you get called by their Spam team the phone number is a Sydney code.

They will definitely ship mixed cartons from their warehouse, but sometimes will arrange cartons of straight dozens to be shipped direct from the cellar door. I have been sent a few local SA wine brands (straight dozen) from down the road. Foster's Group (until 2007) owned Cellarmasters and still own a few wineries in SA, so I am not surprised about direct shipping from these self-owned wineries or have some kind of shipping deal with them.
  • fairybelle2010/11/16 19:50:04
Ok Well the wines turned up today and the carton of Crownies.
Im in Sydney and the dispatch date was the 13/11 and it arrived 16/11?
So i dont really know if they came from Bondi Junction or not?
The only thing that matters is that I have my wine I guess and this was a crazy cheap deal!
