BONUS $20 Myer Card voucher when you sign up to the Myer Store Card

Posted By: jayne, posted 2007/10/18 05:18
I'm posting this as a "tip", as I don't think it's a voucher, even though you get a voucher at the end of it. If you apply for the Myer card (if you have not yet got one), they will send you a $20 Myer Card voucher in your welcome pack. You can even apply online at the link (go to deal button).

I'd say that if you already have one, but want to take advantage of this offer, maybe get one for other family members etc... hubbies, brothers, wifeys, sisses, etc.

Thanks to yousuf :)

    Is this like Myer One?
You can get quite a lot of offers via the Myer One card which makes it worthwhile.

The thing to remember with the store cards is that they usually charge a really high interest rate so you want to make sure that you pay it off ASAP.

I might go check to see if they have annual fees too

    Thanks Jayne

    More info:

The Myer Card interest rate for new purchases from 12 September 2007 is 20.24%.

    A bit hefty

    The MYER one Program
The new Myer Card is linked with one of Australia’s best shopping rewards programs – MYER one. From 13 November, receive 2 MYER one Shopping Credits for every dollar spent at Myer+. PLUS, when you pay with your Myer Card and present your MYER one card, you’ll receive a bonus MYER one Shopping Credit – taking your total to 3 Shopping credits per dollar! When you reach 2,000 Shopping Credits you will automatically be sent a $20 MYER one Gift Card in your next Quarterly Mailing.

If you're not a MYER one Member you will receive a new Membership Card and Welcome Kit. If you are already a MYER one Member we will link your new Myer Card to your existing MYER one membership.

    This is good though

Thanks Nod. The high interest rate on store cards is a pretty common thing. Just always make sure to pay it off before the interest hits :)

    So true Jayne
I guess that is how they cover their costs of setting up the card in the first place.
Some of them are good value if you shop in that store a lot.

I would get one but I no longer live near Myer and don't shop there as much as I used to. But sometimes they have offers just for cardholders which is good.

Yeah, sometimes there are freebies and such, which you can only get when you show your card :)
