Staticice shows this to be $79 + at one store, then $118+ everywhere else!

Thanks for the link Ozpete. Good to get opinion before you buy :)

I had something similar to what they're talking about on Whirlpool with a Netgear wireless router. Was something that developed over time so led me to the conclusion that it was a hardware issue.

Didn't need one but still got one and got it for $40. They are out of stock at most stores by the way. I got the last one at the Melbourne central store and guess what, the guy in front of me bought the same thing. Might be someone who read this post.

:D:D - we've discussed the possibility of getting some cool t-shirts done with something like "Buckscoop Junkie" on it so you can tell

I went in and they did not have it even though I called prior to that to check and they told me they had it in stock. The guy told me to come back and he will make it $40 for me.

Guys, Cworld is Under Administration and if anyone already make a purchase and paid like me might think about how to get our money back.

hi I just want to warn everyone against ordering from computer world. They are currently under external administration. I paid them the money and now may not even get it back. Their website is still accepting orders though
• nod2007/10/19 15:35:50
Thanks for letting us know 0180 and Peppey

Not a good thing that they are still taking orders on the website

And a Big Welcome to Buckscoop Peppey from me
Nice to have you posting in the forum

Are the stores still open ??

I just expired the CW deals we have on the board as a safety thing. They may be able to sort themselves out with the external admin but better to be safe than sorry I think. Or at least do not be making any large purchases with them :)
• admin2007/10/19 16:13:25
Thanks 0180 and peppey.

Administration doesnt mean they're out of business. If the administrator decides to keep it going as a viable concern - ie maybe sell it off - there's a chance you'll get your product. If not then their only choice is to liquidate, which means you'll get zip as the customer comes about number 1 million th in the line of creditors.

Bugs me when they keep taking orders though. Sorry to hear you having problems and hope your not up for losing large amounts.
• ashley70702007/10/19 22:49:04
I did put some orders through them knowing they were under administration but I always pay cash on pickup so no worries there.

Might be a good way to get a deal in these sorts of circumstances
