Baby Savings Co - Maclaren Techno XT (NOT 2008) stroller - $359.99

Just received my order. Please note they advertised the newer model but are giving the older model.
Really bad customer service and they refuse to change my order. Said I should pay another $140 to get the 2008 version and HUNG UP ON ME!!

I would never shop there again.

The cheapest price I could find on the 2008 version of the Maclaren Techno XT stroller.

Babies Galore is still selling the older 2007 version for $499.

Good deal if someone is after a new stroller.

Just a few reviews I found, seems to be an excellent stroller but I couldn't bring myself to spending that much $$$
A good 2nd hand maybe would be my option... Well not that I would need one now

Pros: Has got everything you need and more.
Super light, easy to fold, push with one hand, looks great (have been given many a jealous look from other mums), has suspension, multiple seat recline positions, padded straps and headrest, comes with raincover and footmuff, suitable for infant, reflector material, 3 handle heights.
The Techno XT is worth the extra money.
Cons: Small basket but hey, it is a stroller!
The best stroller you can buy, worth every sent.
You pay for what you get when it comes to strollers.
I believe you should pay more for a great stroller and less on the pram/jogger, you will use the stroller more.

Pros: Lightweight, easy to steer, easy to fold, compact and fits into a small car boot, good shade with the extendable hood, comes with a rain cover which can be used to protect the baby on windy days as well, suitable from newborn to toddler, easy to get through supermarket aisles and other narrow areas
Cons: Small storage basket which is hard to access when the seat is in a layback position.
A little fiddly to get the seat to the layback position.
Overall: An excellent stroller and worth the money.
We were told in the baby store where we bought it that they never see Maclarens returned for repairs unlike many other prams.

Pros: Easy to use. We have used ours from newborn onwards and our baby loves it.
The foot muff/ sleeping bag was good for keeping baby warm in winter.
Cons: basket underneath is a bit hard to get to.
Overall:Fantastic! Its not big and bulky so you can take it anywhere.
A great investment We have got our moneys worth easily!

I was initially after a 2nd hand one but they sell on ebay for about 280. This is quite a good stroller as it will take a child upto 25 kg, still is lightweight and folds down small. great for the bus and plane.

This will be my son's 3rd stroller (he is not yet 2!) out of neccessity as he is quite big for his age and has outgrown his jogger and the compact one I bought for overseas air travel. wish I had just got this in the first place!

Thanks for telling us about the poor service and fraudulent advertising... hope you can get some recourse with Fair Trading or Not Good Enough. I wouldn't know my 2007 models from my 2008, but I can't quite believe any company would hang up on a customer...
