These people are morons. First they can't get the year right, second the sale does not include perth and doesnt show perth, but when i copied and pasted, it shows as perth.

They shouldn't have advertised this sale here as no australian cities are included. A waste of time.

    A fantastic HOT deal!!

And perfect timing for those who were able to take advantage of the super-cheap $99 deals outbound from Oz to KUL last week - and now can plan some bargain domestic travel within Malaysia :)

I could book two flights to London from perth for $1500 total, not including luggage, food and credit card surcharge. This is for the July holidays. I think I will wait and see what the other airlines come up with. I suspect they won;t do much.

Hi Voteoften, did you see this from The West Newspaper's site?

AirAsia X has launched the biggest and cheapest seat sale offered to WA travellers, with return flights to London for $554.

The sale of three million seats on flights to 65 destinations began at midnight and runs until Sunday or until seats are sold out.

Travel is between January 11 to July 31 next year, including school holidays and Easter.

The sale is in two parts, with $99 one-way fares to Kuala Lumpur and onward flights from Kuala Lumpur to almost all AirAsia Group’s destinations.

The group stretches across 20 countries, has 130 routes and has eight hubs at Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bali and Bandung.

It also operates a daily flight to London’s Stansted Airport.

One-way fares from Kuala Lumpur start at $3 to Penang while Singapore is $11 and Phuket $18.

London is $356 return plus the cost of the Perth to KL return sector.

Thanks Alimac, Due to it being winter school holidays during the time I checked, the rock bottom fares were not available on all flights. Getting the $750 per RT ticket was pretty good during that time, even though it would mean missing two days of school. It will be summer in the NH at that time.....

Yes I did see that article. Thanks again.

    Excellent prices...... :D

jetstar is doing perth-bali for $99 in feb march 2010. There were seats available from jetstar for the feb/mrach long w/e (labour day in WA) for less than that, including luggage. I got a quote for two people round trip total of $321, including luggage, which is $80 for 2 people for both flights. this is a total price, not each.

A Tip I just picked up from another website.

If booking a return flight flom Gold Coast to KL it will cost you $99 x2 = $198

If you book one way flights it will cost you $150 for both flights. The KL to Gold Coast sector is only approx $50.

Worth looking at if your booking :)
