A tip on the Vista Print freebies - NEW LINKS

Posted By: nod, posted 2007/10/15 03:33
I was not 100% sure where to post this as it is not a deal but I guess it is a tip on how to get your Vista Print freebies.

We have had a lot of problems with the Vista Print freebies. The links not working etc..
And I have now received this email which may explain a lot. So from now on I think we might as well stop posting any Vista Print freebies and if you want to get one of the freebies you will need to sign up for the email.

The question is whether we will be able to pick up the cashback for the freebies as well?

SO THE BASIC MESSAGE IS, IF YOU WANT TO GET ANY VISTA PRINT FREEBIES YOU WILL NEED TO SIGNUP TO THE EMAILS

Lilpretzel, it might be worth emailing them via the contacts page and asking why.
I suspect they have taken this action to prevent the offers appearing in forums or something.. well that is what I think anyway

I'm going to have another whinge about this company.

Not only have all my cashback been declined today I received my free 500 business cards which I paid $8.81 for shipping.

Well, not only did it cost $4 for them to send there is a mistake which I'm trying to see if I did but I can't login into my account!

ummm a extra $4.81 taken from me for what???? The cards are suppose to be FREE!!!! :whistling:

Not happy JAN thats my last order from them.

Vistaprint are a tad dodgy - if they don't overcharge on the postage how else can they give so much away for "free"??

I ordered the premium business cards from them and he quality is not that great by the way.

You get what you pay for I guess

hey thanks for the feedback ashley7070.
There have been quite a few reports of some interesting CC transactions too - so keep an eye out in your statement.

i'm getting the emails sent through to my iinet email address :)

I have a junk email addy that I get all that stuff sent too - I seem to get quite a few of those ' exclusive' offers :D

As long as you are aware of the p&h, the cost isn't that bad. I've gotten the business cards before and they're pretty good.

They just play on the 'free' angle, which is just a little dodgy marketing ploy.

I bought a bit from them..I always use the email links..and I wait until they send me an email that has all the stuff I want before ordering.

I've ordered t-shirts, car stick-ons, stickers, birthday invites, postcards, brochures, calendars, magnets, you name it, I've probably ordered it and all at great prices! I've no hesitation using them at all. I just don't click on any stupid links to sign up to any stupid programs or 'free offers from partner sites' after each order. Common sense really.. :)

I always use one of their 'free' offers, then redesign the whole thing using their 'free graphics' to personalise each item I buy. The end product usually looks nothing at all like what I started with!

Seriously, even if they make money off the postage..it works out SO MUCH cheaper than buying elsewhere. Also it's so convenient and sooo easy to use! :D

I have bought quite a bit from vistaprint with no probs, I usually get the customised christmas cards when they have them for 'free', great cards for the grandparents!
  • winniblu2008/08/01 18:31:14
well I got my prem business cards and I am "HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE" :D

They ware awesome! They are not glossed but they get the message across

Perhaps they've improved since this thread was started last year. I used one of their free offers to make up a fun t-shirt as a birthday present for a friend. It looked great when it arrived & she loved it. She also said it came out of the first wash in good condition (I was concerned that it might be so cheap the colors would wash out). So, for 10 or so bucks postage, I was very happy with it.

They do really spam you with the email though. I think I get one about every 2-3 days. Still, they're legit offers for those who are interested, so not really a concern.

I get a good laugh at how flowery some of the email titles are. They have to get inventive given the volume of emails they churn out. Wonder if they just have an automixup package that inserts a random title out of a database of 100 they've written.

I had one that said "Congratulation... Today is your lucky day!", like I'd won something. They must be getting some pointers from Reader Digest ("You may already be a winner!" )

    Hi guys

I am trying something new with the Vistaprint merchant to see if we can improve the tracking :)

Take a look here for specific links to a free t-shirt, stamp and 250 business cards plus $3.60 cashback which generally covers about 1/2 of your shipping :)
  • lilpretzel2009/06/05 11:53:25
If you didn't know VistaPrint cashback has now increased to $7.20 for each validated purchase. Please make sure to follow nod's instructions.

    ;)
