so where do we get the vouchers? do we print them?
  • voteoften2007/08/15 22:02:19
Hi, that sounds great, and it looks like it will be valid for a relatively long time. Here is my question - Is there a $3.95 voucher? It doesn't look like "we" have one. What should you do if you order online and rock up and they say "where is it?" My inclination would be to say. "I didn't know I needed it, I left it at the office and that's too far away to go and get. Do you want to sell these pizzas?" I would have to think that would work 99% of the time. Any thoughts?

Is there a voucher for the $3.95 deal?

Yes, I agree voteoften, I really don't think they are going to turn you away, if they have cooked the pizzas and everything!

Is there a link to these vouchers online ozpete? If you receive them by email, they usually have a bit that says "to view these online, click here"...
  • elegantegotist2007/08/15 22:08:15
My local dominoes doesn't care about the vouchers. They just put less topping. Once I got a a $3.95 and I swear there was like 2 pepperoni on the whole thing.
  • ozpete2007/08/16 07:00:04
There are no vouchers to print. Just the online codes. Domino's would require an original voucher if they do ask for one, not a computer/fax/photocopy.

As Bradley mentions you need to be aware if the local stores "require/request" the vouchers. My local store never requests them, often even when ordered by the phone.

But if you don't try you'll never know - as Brad has already found out with his local store.

I agree with Voteoften, what are they going to do. If you say - left at office (which is better than left at home - as the office is now closed for the night).

But you have already paid for them via credit card, so leaving them behind will cost you. Better to say can they make an exception, etc - you know customer goodwill, and next time I'll make sure I bring it in. Which obviously means you wont be able to use this trick next time.

So you can also argue if you need to, why did it accept them and my credit card, so just refund my money - which is going to be hard as they will have to do a credit card refund.

And if you are not that way inclined, have some of the other vouchers available in your glove box and pay the difference. So unless you try you'll never know.

You really have nothing too lose, but everything to gain.

As for the less toppings, I guess thats also an individual store call. our store seemed to do this a year ago, when they had $5.95 vouchers, now they put the same amount as normal even on the $3.95 vouchers. - Why? because it cost them business, the competitors thrived and maybe thats why we get $3.95 voucher offers because they went too far with being too stingy.

thin fetta veg for me, thin BBQ pepperoni for him (and for me to steal). Naturally, he will not be stealing any of my fetta veg! :) Got the fudge brownies too - which I will pay for, but darn, they are cheap with the voucher AND they are SO good!

All bought and paid for - let's see if they grumble about no vouchers when my husband pick dinner up. I've told him to say it's paid for, do they want to issue and refund or give him the pizza, but that seems a bit ballsy - I don't know if he'd say it if he was questioned (I would).

Either she's sleeping it off, or they made him an offer he couldn't refuse - like "come around the back to discuss..." .:D :D

:D - got me interested in knowing now.
  • ScarletRubies2007/08/19 09:16:50
Wha? You guys are nutty... I don't *live* next to this computer, y'know. Well, I do, but that's only because it's in my house.

Besides not being 100% sure what ozpete thought my husband had to do to get cheap pizza, I can report on great success. We got 3 pizzas (got a roast garlic & olive supreme for the interested), a garlic bread & raspberry brownies for $18 + some coin. Less than $19, anyway. No one asked for the voucher. They do sometimes though.

So, we have a spare pizza & a half in the fridge getting consumed on the sly whenever *someone* wanders past the fridge. :) 2 people do NOT need 3 pizzas, but they were SO cheap - half the price we usually pay with a voucher - that I figured I could get my fetta veg too. Normally *he* won't let me!

Oh, and apparently I am now a senior member. Yay me. I need an emoticon with one of those whirling rattler do-dads. How many posts before I am crowned "Stunning And Divine" (acronym SAD, of course).

Thats great feedback.... Enjoy the leftovers.

My crack about Hubby was that they may have taken him around the back to educate him with some concrete boots, about using "illicit" voucher codes... especially since we had not heard from you, but all's well.

So as before, some stores are worried about this and others just happy to sell some more pizza's. Looks like yours is one of the good ones.

    cheers

This voucher came in handy for me on friday ,when i rounded up the boys in the office for pizza, how could they say no at that price. Cheaper than a sandwich from the takeaway shop

Just ordered two scrumptious pizzas for $3.95 each. Would be nice if they were always $3.95 each.
  • admin2007/08/25 16:02:36
I reckon 4 bucks is about a fair price for what you get
  • Brad2007/09/09 13:39:26
Just tried the $3.95 one, but it says it now says that the voucher has expired, even though the expiry date is 30/09/07. :(
