On the webdite it states - 3. Can I have more than one card ?
No. You can only have one registered Everyday Rewards card.
However, you can link your card to other registered cardholders. (See LINKED CARDS below.)

We've had the cards here for a while (I think 2 or 3 weeks). You get a 10c p/l discount on your card when you register online; my husband has one as do I - the kids may end up with cards too. After you use your 10c discount, you can link the cards so each purchase contributes a 4c p/l discount to the group - and even if my husband didn't go shopping, he can still access the dicsount when he's driving/filling up without me being there or giving him a receipt.

How strange, no participating supermarkets in WA but there are participating petrol stations here!

sorry, lil and thanks for adding extra info. i promise i will add all the info necessary from now on to all my deals...with regards to your question, i guess if you register cards under different names, they won't ask for your ID everytime...but this is not a good practice and i don't encourage members to do that.

dunno know how I should vote on this, there doesnt seem to be any participating Woolworths or Safeway stores in Sydney but there are plenty of fuel outlets....
  • admin2008/03/13 19:40:14
Its almost a bit of false advertising on the part of woolies. Run the promo to get the publicity with so few participants that its not going to hurt the bottom line. Shame - its a good promo.
  • Gallifrey2008/03/14 01:47:14
cant someone who has a participating store in the area pick up some for us, post them to us (we pay postage of course) and then we register online and use them in the participating servos near us?? ;)
  • ScarletRubies2008/03/14 10:38:34
Happy to offer my posting services if this appeals to anyone...
  • nod2008/03/18 21:38:31
what an odd set up... seems like they have not bothered to co-ordinate the promo. Maybe you are supposed to shop in one state and buy fuel in another ??
  • ScarletRubies2008/03/18 21:42:38
Apparently they have been running the programme in Tassie as a pilot for a few years now. I have not idea how it would work if I took my card interstate - would they be able to add new vouchers? Not really an issue for me, but seeing as though the grocery store is national, I agree, Nod, they should have a more coordinated system.
  • jdstacey2008/03/19 17:12:06
Yeah - same for ACT, all the fuel outlets are there, but no supermarkets

Ahhh - good stuff gallifrey, thanks.

Our local store here in Melbourne has just started promoting this offer so seems like if you're patient enough they'll get to all stores eventually. Obviously are phasing out the paper vouchers and providing the card instead.

My daughter picked up one for us and have registered it so have the 10c off to use next time I fill up.
  • queenshrew2008/05/30 17:01:08
    Bumping this to add:
Essentially you can get 14c off per litre if you spend an extra $5 in the store! :D

Can I use my 10c fuel e-voucher in conjunction with the Extra 4c offer at fuel outlets?
Yes. If you have a 10c fuel e-voucher on your card, and you spend $5 or more on instore items at a participating CALTEX WOOLWORTHS/SAFEWAY co-branded outlet you will save 14c per litre when you fill up.
  • craftykiwi2008/05/30 19:22:27
Used my first 10c off the other day and with the sudden increase in petrol certainly helped! Will wait a week or so to register hubby for the next time we fill up.

Thought you had to spend a minimum $30 like in the past to get the usual 4c off and that is true, but was also told to scan the card each time you go shopping irrespective of how much you spend for the chance to win prizes.

We'd never spend an extra $5 just to get a further 4c off becasue for our car that usually only equates to between $1 and $2 off our total petrol bill so unless we desperately needed something we'd end up spending more than we'd save. But maybe for bigger cars it might be worth it.
