Thats a hard one to answer....hmmm maybe no....ummmm maybe post buckscoop as a deal on ozbargain :o :o
• ozpete2009/02/06 09:47:51
Ideas for extra members

1. Simple and most effective.

All buckscoopers who take advantage of a bargain are required to introduce one new member

2. Politically correct -

Give away 950 jelly beans to each new member, with a further 950 for each new member that gives an old member as a reference plus 950 to the old member and so on. All payments to be made when BS has the funds.

All that aside the real suggestion is-

Why not give a reward to the top 10 BScoopers who introduce new members. A membership drive reward program. As Jellybeans (although personally I prefer jelly babies or bullets) are a proven incentive then this should be a sure fire way to get more members.

I might be creative and get some graphics to show this, which I'll add later

To get more members i believe,
You have to offer them something, you see?
A voucher, credit or things for free,
That's how lots of websites get me!

They both publish a newsletter and have an online database designed to show you how to save money on groceries, gifts, cleaning, holidays, cars and phone bills.

They have large membership bases, both free and paid, and a good partnership with either will help both BuckScoop and a partner website increase their memberships and revenue.

Buckscoop's greatest asset is its members... so put them to use!

We love the idea of Buckscoop - cashbacks, a forum full of the best deals, friendly members, lots of competitions and a fun community atmosphere.

"If it's not worth talking about, it's not worth doing."

Members will be happy to publicise Buckscoop if encouraged... you could run a competition for the best promotion activity, and members may be encouraged to:
* Post about Buckscoop on forums
* Write website reviews on Buckscoop online, in newspapers and magazines
* Petition Today Tonight or A Current Affair to do a segment on "savvy consumers", featuring Buckscoop
* Streak at a major sporting event carrying a Buckscoop sign (Of course, for legal reasons, Buckscoop would never endorse such behaviour.)
* Post about Buckscoop on blogs or personal websites
* ETC ETC

Most importantly, the purpose of the promo should be to explain the way Buckscoop works and it's benefits. It's really a WIN-WIN situation for everyone who joins - you don't need to pay, you don't get spam -- just extra $$ in your pocket. I believe that if more people knew about Buckscoop, more would join (and prepare for the multiplier effect!).

Ha Ha .. Microsoft who uses it's early paying adopters as beta testers, buys up companies with good ideas and otherwise swipes ideas from Apple - just makes me chuckle

Hi guys, long time no see....
Well i thought this would be a perfect time to come back and say hello.
I have been setting up my SEO forum SEO stands for search engine optimization, Which means we help webmaster learn ways of getting more visits, higher ranks in search engines ETC Well do you really want to know how to get a load of people to Buckscoop? i could have this place flood with say around 40-50l people in a few days.....Well here are a few tips some will cost a bit of cash $$$

1. Get forum members to donate (only if you don't have any cash) a few $$ so you can advertise.
2. buy a bunch of adwords account you can get ones loaded with $55 USD for around $7-$10 USD depending on how many you are willing to buy.
3. Advertise on other websites, i bought an ad for 3 weeks for $5 and what did i get? 458,928 views and 80,000 clicks in 3 weeks yup thats bout it.
4. Hire some Indian data entry dudes, i was paying $0.50 an hour for directory submission, blog posts, old digg articles that had a high PR
5. This is gonna cost you a load buy a door way page generator and install it Yes i do have about 3 different types of door way page generators.

Thats about the basics, if you want more info PM me i am will to help.
