    • nod15/03/2008
Number 12 is interesting... my interpretation of that is that you need to give the 'free bet stake' back if you win :D
    • admin15/03/2008
Its fair enough though. They give you a theoretical $100 to bet on something if you win $101 they give you $1.

I like number one - marketing communications being a euphemism for SPAM........
    • Wally15/03/2008
Seems that those T&C are an advance on previous ones which required that should you win using the promo advanced bet - that you had to have placed the monies won (using the promo) again up for a bet(s) before they would pay it out.

Surely the small print doesn't have T&C further attached  :geek:

Suppose the limitation is that it must be an NRL bet

      Brad,
With the free bets what is the value of the bet you get?
And where does the $10 go? Do you need to bet the $10 and then you can place the 6 free bets?

And are there any restrictions on the money when you try to withdraw it. As I think I remember there were restrictions last time

      Sorry :o
I am full of questions with this deal :D
    • Brad14/12/2007
As I understand the provided info, your 6 free bets are credited as 1/4 of your first bet.
      For example:
If you bet $60 first, on anything, then you get 6 free bets which are caculated at 1/4 the value of your original bet - to a maximum combined value of $150 in free bets.

      So that would be:
      A regular $60 bet
PLUS 6 x $15 bets (one for each as listed above.)
This offer does not mention anything about them withholding your freebie bet - look out for any extra Terms & Conditions when entering the Promotional Code.
    • nod14/12/2007
      Thanks for the info Brad.
With Centrebet I think last time ... or was it Sporting bet... you had to bet all your winnings before they would give you the cash... will go dig up the thread... I think it may have been Sporting Bet actually
    • nod15/12/2007
      Ok it was Sporting Bet:

Why they have 2 number 13s, I dunno!!
    • schlemster31/10/2007
devils number halloween at all you know ;)
    • Wally01/11/2007
So they are not providing ANY cashback for new customer referrals??
    • nod01/11/2007
      Nope
Sorry to say that CentreBet no longer offer a cashback program :(
    • gstok01/11/2007
I'm still waiting for any record of my cashback from joining them nearly 2 weeks ago. Will be doing the enquiry form very soon. :(
    • nod01/11/2007
      No problems Gstok.
Centrebet only import their transactions every month so that may be why your transaction has not appeared.
I recommend you wait for 3-4 weeks from your transaction date before sending an enquiry, but if your transaction has not appeared then send us a ticket and we will chase it for you :)

      Thanks Brad

      4. The free bet is non-withdrawable; the free bet stake will not be included in any returns.

Does this mean that they actually take the money from your winnings?
    • voteoften31/10/2007
Yes, I saw that too Nod. I am wondering if they mean you never get the stake, you can gamble until you lose it.... Or maybe it means you can't place the 1st bet for $50 and then ask for the second $50 in cash.... Any gamblers have any ideas??
    • admin31/10/2007
the thread a long time back by a member from here threw light on this.

The way they do it is that you put in lets say $50 - they will match it with a $50 free bet. You then put the freebie $50 on Three Legged Camel to win the Melbourne Cup at odds of 1000 to 1. Somehow Three Legged Camel gets over his losing hump and wins. You get $5000 in winnings.... Centrebet will then pay you $4950 back - being 5k minus the $50 free bet.

Thats my understanding of it but not being a gambler I could be wrong.

    • admin15/08/2007
that depends... I need to do some looking around to find out the answer to that question. Personally I think its 50/50 either way at the moment.

Welcome to Buckie penquin! I'd say if you gamble anyway, and weren't worried about losing $10, then it would be worth a try for the chance at 140 smackeroonies!!! ...

I'm still thinking about it. I haven't been whoring at at factory outlets/bargain shops for a while now so I don't think that title is befitting of me any longer. Today I went to DFO and I couldn't see anything I liked.

    • ozpete25/08/2007
Well I have tried as well so hope they are not toooo smart. In my case I elected to play "safe" and just joined. I did not use the bonus deal. If it doesn't work I suppose I can just cash out my deposit.
    • admin25/08/2007
thanks ozpete - keep us posted.

How did this deal go for people?

Well my $140 has been added to my earnings. Not yet validated, so part way there.
    • admin25/09/2007
They've been pretty slow with the validation but at least the most important part, the tracking, has happened for you ozpete.
    • Wally25/09/2007
hmm ... anybody got the $140 cashback using the 5 'free' bet coupon!?

Might consider joining to put a bet on the Geelong Cats in the AFL Grand Final, if so ...
    • admin25/09/2007
      :D - you reckon they'll win huh....

In my case I just took the 140 offer rather than taking the free bets as well. Thought that if one jeopardised the other which would I have preferred. The $140 looked like the better deal.

Also I think the 5 free bets deal has finished but you can try by entering the code from the first post AU5FB

Centrebet has paid up. BUT in my case I did not take the promotional deal. Just a straight signup. Others who went for the promotion may want to add their comments. In the meantime the $140 will go towards some bargains to be found here!! (BTW my net gain has been $130 as my betting prowess was lacking)

I believe the $140 cashback is a permanent thing with this merchant... but best to wait and get nod or admin to confirm that....
    • nod27/09/2007
At this present stage we see no reason for the $140 to be withdrawn Ozpete :)
    • admin12/10/2007
The $140 is now no longer to be a permanent thing.....!

As of 1st November they are dropping the rate back to $80.. so anyone thinking of taking this up - do it now.
    • Gallifrey12/10/2007
does anyone know if you have to open it with exactly $10 or will it still work if you open with a little bit more than the $10?
    • nod12/10/2007
I am not 100% sure Gallifrey but I think it is a minimum of $10
    • admin12/10/2007
the 5 free bets bit has finished gallifrey - but the cashback offer is still there. It simply states "payment based on customer opening an account and depositing funds into their Centrebet account."
    • Gallifrey12/10/2007
      thanks nod and admin
    • admin13/10/2007
If it was any other merchant nadia I'd say yes, but centrebet seem to be a special case. Their tracking can take a while and they had an issue with being able to identify a transaction as coming from a member.

The best thing to do is submit an earnings enquiry and we'll get it sorted out for you.
    • narut13/10/2007
Is the cashback still valid? I can't find the merchant in gambling page:

    • nod13/10/2007
I can find them listed under gambling
      May be try again
We have had some odd issues with merchants today
    • nod13/10/2007

    • narut14/10/2007
I can see it now. Thanks Nod
    • snewman15/10/2007
Is the Centrebet cashback still available? I can't gind them under Gambling.
    • admin15/10/2007
      :D - you lot.....

To see them go to the your Settings page and you'll see two boxes there.

      Hide gambling related merchants
      Hide adult related merchants

By default when you sign up these are selected and so you dont see any of the adult or gambling merchants we have here.
    • gstok19/10/2007
Can someone please clarify for me - the offer doesn't mention the need to deposit money with Centrebet, just to register. What EXACTLY does one have to do circa 19-Oct-2007 to score the $140 cashback? Thanks!
    • nod19/10/2007
Gstok you do need to join up and bet with Centrebet to qualify for the cashback
    • gstok20/10/2007
Hi nod, sorry still a little confused. Do you have to bet or do you have to have funds in your account? If you have to bet, is there is a minimum? Sorry, just not seeing this information published anywhere.
    • ozpete20/10/2007
You must deposit funds into your account to get the cashback.

I think the free bets have a time limit, so if you dont make a bet you lose them.

You must either use a credit card to put funds in your account - the min is $10. If dont want to use credit card you can do a bpay but this requires $20.

YOU do not have to make bet to get the cashback, but why not? even if you lose - which the odds are that you will - as with all betting - you still end up with the $140 cashback.
    • gstok20/10/2007
Thanks Pete. I was able to put $12 in there with no probs when I opened the account, and just placed a bet on the V8s today! lol. No free bet offer when I joined, just some competition thing if I bet $20 or more.
    • ozpete20/10/2007
      good luck on the v8's
