This is an online only deal for the VIVITAR Vivicam 7310 @ Dick Smith - the camera is $99 plus $9.90 road shipping. Not much to go on with the price comparisons, only other one I can find the same is $160 @ OO.

but it looks like a handy enough little camera for a 7mp model :)

    Yeah, it is lower end, but we cannot all afford amazing digital SLRs and the like :D

    7 megapixel is the same as the SLR I've got - bought about 3 years ago. Stunning how fast the price of technology comes down.

    Vivitar is actually a marketing company/name brand - they don't manufacture anything but have products made and badged for them... not sure how to say what I mean, but I hope readers will get the gist. Most of their cameras are Taiwanese, made by a company called Premier. If people are after a good budget digi camera, I think the Fujifilm "F" series is a better choice. If you really want THIS camera, look for the Premier branded model - exactly the same but cheaper. I haven't found it retailing here in a quick search and don't have time to do a big search right now (sorry!) but others might be interested. That said, I don't know how many people looking at this deal are seriously after a camera? I know that I want to replace/upgrade my dSLR in the next 6 months... my three year old is getting the old one! Any one looking at cameras can/should check out the site ]dpreview.
