I think cheapest on staticICE is $189. Be aware that the desktop version needs a power outlet and is not powered by USB and in case you didnt know the way Seagate calculates 1GB = 1,073,741,824 bytes. So the advertised 500 GBytes / 1,073,741,824 bytes = 466 Gbytes usable space.

This can also be ordered from HT.com.au for $179 - 4.05% Buckscoop cashback. You can then pickup in store. http://www.ht.com.au/N/Storage-Disk-Storage-Seagate-500-GB/part/U6876-FreeAgent-Desktop-Hard-drive-500-GB-external-35-Hi-Speed-USB-7200-rpm/detail.hts

do you still get the cashback if you pickup in store ? I thought if you choose pickup in store option then you have to pay at store and not online and thus maybe the cashback doesnt get recorded.

Thats true chrisg, if you pay instore you won't receive any cashback. But it should track if you pay for your whole order online, and then choose the pickup option.
