In the new Officeworks Catalogue, a range of Apple MP3 players have been discounted by some margin.

iPod Nano 8GB - $239

These are the latest models, but I'd have to look up what Generation they are. admin: $445 is a good $54 off RRP. Pretty impressive. My only worry is that in a couple of months, the new iPods will be released, which I think is why these are on sale. Nevertheless, a bargain!

Thanks for the post King :) The current generation is still good.

be interesting to see if they really do hammer the price of the old ipods down pre new release. Guess probably not unless they come up with something as radically different as 2G to 3G

Agreed. There haven't been any links of info, but i suspect there will be increased sizes all round, without changing the design of the nano and classic. The current pricing of the nano and classic seems to be working for Apple and remains very competitive. The iPod Touch will drop in price due to the iPhone. That's what I think any way.

pretty good deal. but if you are looking for iPod nano 8Gb, a better deal is http://www.buckscoop.com.au/deals/13837/apple-ipod-nano-8gb-229-delivered-i, while for an iPod Classic 80Gb, you can get it for $314 (comes with $30 iTunes card) from PowerHouse: http://catalogues.cataloguecentral.com.au/cc.asp?xml=powerhouse.xml&iid=8614&did=9104107&VendorId=124&hash=007eef888e7bb318fc62ea3d909bcd9f377e81a5 (p11)

Yup, you can definitely find prices better at Dinosaur Deals and most online places, but these deals are very good for shop front stores. iTunes card is a nice bonus though. Good find.

What do you think?
