A little more expensive than the last time I posted a deal on the 6400 but this has a better spec and as you know already I rate these quite highly as good all round notebooks. No graphics gard available for them now but the on board does quite a good job with games like Far Cry. Between this and a Vostro 1000 there is no contest, this is a much better buy imo. Fancy a 19" Dell TFT screen, well add it to the spec and its just $199.10 extra saving $100 on list price. Dont forget there is 3% bucky cashback on this deal too.

Seems to be defaulting to T2080 1.73 GHz, 2Ghz is extra, any ideas ?

Maybe they found their mistake?

Sorry I meant to get back to you on this earlier but got sidetracked, yes Dell have altered the spec back down. It seems most of my dell posts have to be acted on sooner rather than later as I seem to pick out the better ones that dell think are too good and want to alter soon after posting ;) I will see what I can find this week to replace it with.

Just checked it out and its available again this week with the 2Ghz cpu so go grab one ;) Just follow the instructions in the first post to get to the deal.

Sneaky Dell, changed it again to 2Ghz as default Had to convince over the phone for free upgrade to 2Ghz yesterday (printed the deal previously with 2Ghz). Managed to get RACV 5% on top of that, even though this was not specifically in the RACV list :) Couldn't get buckscoop cashback as I was sneaking the Evalue into RACV discount. Many thanks for buckscoop for pointing out the discounts and E-Value code.

I rang up for this - you can get it but its dropped back to 1.73GHz processor again !

The best price I can work now for this is $1097.80 with a 2Ghz cpu, 2gig ram, 160Gb hdrive. So I guess its offer expired for now and wait till next week to see if it drops back down again.

What do you think?
