Thanks Sandy What exactly is the core 2 quad processor?

4 cpu's all on the same die Nod. Like core 2 duo cpu's are quick because of 2 cpu's working on the same die, this cpu has 4 so providing the application can use 4 cpu's things will happen a lot quicker.

Thanks. I knew they were faster but I have not seen a lot around. Realistically for the average user will you notice or even need the extra speed?

The average user probably wont buy it, he will be happy with something for $1000 or less that will surf and do his word processing and play undemanding games. This sort of kit is aimed at the gamer or video transcoder or the guy who just likes to be up to date and for them I think its a pretty nice deal.

What do you think?
