I'll give you a hot geo. Thats a good package. I cant see where it says that its a Lacie drive on page 7 how do you know it is ?? Just looking through the rest of the catalogue. The price on the 160Gb western digital 2.5" elements drive isnt too bad and I see they still have the Western Digitial 1 TB @ $249.

Ahh - I didnt go to the link you posted geo. You can also go in the draw to win two business class tickets to London Paris or New York together with the purchase.

That is a great (ridiculous) deal. Staticice shows up $176 min for the printer, $120 for the drive. You can get a max of three of them. Think I might make a trip to Officeworks tomorrow.. Toner is expensive though. Think I might flog the printers, get 1.5TB of drives for free & enough cash for a few beers thrown in as well! :o :p

Voted HOT from me. I'll be off to Officeworks in the am...

How much are the toners? Are they better value than inks one if I only print like 3 pages a month?

Hi, If you are (or might become) a Mac OSX user, be very careful as to whether this printer will have compatible printer drivers. USB does not guarantee it will work. Good deal otherwise...

aparently the printer earned an Australia Personal Computer Magazine Editor's choice award as an innexpensive printer, the toner being 4c per page: http://www.canon.com.au/home/story_1366.html "With excellent test image reproduction at high speeds, the LBP 3200 is a great buy for the home or small office. Toner is four cents per page and the one year on-site warranty can't be beaten."

http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010044.asp Got em holdenmg. Interesting though... I usually buy just on the assumption that everything has a mac driver.

Actually - havent got them holdenmg...... Just looked over the link at the canon site and there's only links to the manual in pdf form.....

Managed to pick it up from Officeworks, now not wanting to open it if it won't work with Mac OSX. Might need to return it if can't find driver. Like most others, I bought this mainly for the LaCie drive :D Anyone have any success printing with via OSX on this printer?

People have been able to bodge the 3000 http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20060320001618347 and aparently this driver will work with the 3200 http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0028785.asp?model= According to this thread. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7331209

Does it come with a full toner or just a start-up one.

you can check the review @ http://www.trustedreviews.com/printers/review/2004/03/01/Laser-Printer-Group-Test/p4 seems pretty good for a free printer (considering you want the hdd)...

I am a bit behind the times I think :D But hot vote from me anyway :) Great deal Geo78 - thanks

I bought one of these printers and am surprised by how quickly it prints from sending from my PC - it prints a sheet in about 4 seconds. Also today I received my HDD from Canon - took about 2 weeks from me sending off my claim to getting the HDD which aint bad! Better than the 2 months wait (so far) from Microsoft for their 30% cashback offer on hardware.
