Active Noise Cancelling Headphones - $23.80 @ DailyDeals

15 September 2007

Seems like a good price on some active noise cancelling headphones.
They're $23.80, and $7.50 postage throughout Australia.
So the total price comes to $31.30. :-]

how does the active noise cancel work Brad ??

Basically, their is a microphone in the headset which detects background noise and then emits a sound signal thats the direct opposite in frequency to the unwanted background noise, effectively canceling it out. On the other hand, noise isolation is simply tighter fitting headphones to stop the noise getting in your ear in the first place.

Ha - makes sense really. I'd never actually thought about it.
