10% off external hard drives @ Harris Tech (1TB for $314)

17 January 2008

Harris has 10% off all external hard drives that are ordered online. They must be ordered online to get the 10% off, but you have the choice of picking them up or getting it delivered.

I ordered a 1TB Western Digital My Book Essential for $314 plus $6.52 delivery. The 750GB Western Digital My Book Essential was slightly better value at $224, but I opted for the larger drive. The Western Digital My Book Essential drives come with 3 year warranty according to the HT website.

The cheapest I can find on Staticice.com.au is $350 for the WD 1TB and $278 for the WD 750GB model.

You can probably pick up a generic cheaper but WD are a known and good brand so I figure they are worth the extra. Especially when you are using them for back. I mean any ext hdd can break down but with WD you hope :whistling: that you are less likely to have problems then with a generic And the $10 or so Buckscoop cashback make the deal even sweeter :D Thanks Hellwolf
