Yes it’s Wednesday again already, and time for another one of Buckscoop’s roundups of the top vouchers and promo codes. This week I’m standing in for our regular blog contributor ‘Fisherman’, so hopefully I can live up to the standard of voucher/promo code discovery that you’ve become accustomed to.
In this post I’ll not only show you where to get cases of quality wine at insanely cheap prices, but also give you a few ideas of where to look for Valentines Day gifts for your other half (i.e. lingerie for the girls and jeans for the guys). But that’s certainly not all this post contains, so read on to find out where else vouchers and promo codes can be used online to maximise your savings.
Winemarket – $50 Off Orders Over $120 Voucher
This is one of the most highly anticipated vouchers on Buckscoop. Not just because $50 off is a generous discount, but also due to the fact that when combined with Winemarket’s competitive pricing on cases of wines, it usually makes for some steaming bargains. The only thing to remember is that you’ll need to get yourself past the $120 mark in order to use it. We sometimes have to wait two or three months between the re-surfacing of this $50 discount, so I suggest you make use of it now.
To kickstart your deal hunt, checkout out this offer on Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc for $5.83 a bottle (or $70 for a dozen) after applying the voucher. Another great option is on the 2012 Penfolds Winemakers Shiraz Cabernet which you can get for the equivalent of under $9 a bottle. The exact price for a case is $105, which is cheap compared to Myer and Cellarmasters who are charging $167 for a dozen by comparison.

Glue Store – Extra 25% Off Promo Code (on Jeans and Dresses Sale)
Although during the festive season we saw quite a few promo codes being pushed out by Glue Store, they’re not generally a retailer who frequently issues them. So when a 25% off jeans and dresses code appeared last week that caught my eye, not to mention that it can be used on items which are already on sale. In our experience, Glue Store promo codes usually top out at around 30% off. Although at that level there’s normally a minimum spend threshold attached which can be anywhere from $250 and above. Not only that, but they’re often restricted to specific categories of clothing too.
I haven’t searched extensively through all of their sale items, but from the handful of different men’s jeans that I looked at, all of them have plenty of sizes left in stock. This is another big plus in my book as far too often I see a coupon/promo code being released by a retailer offering a generous discount, only to land on their site and find that virtually all sizes are sold out. A massive time waster.
Remember, shipping at Glue Store is free when you spend $75 or more.

Deals Direct – 10% Off Orders Coupon
This appears to be a code that Deals Direct have used in the past which now seems to be active again, giving you 10% off your order. New users can also get 10% when joining, so this is aimed more at existing users considering there aren’t any other coupons floating around at the moment. While 10% isn’t one of the better discount levels, as we do see “$5 off $20 spends” and “15% off $50 spends” every so often, it still helps – particularly if you plan on spending quite a bit. I’ve played around with this code and it looks like a $50 minimum spend threshold applies, so keep this in mind when making your purchases.
One example of where you can get a good deal with this coupon is on the Disney Frozen Crystal Kingdom Vanity Set for $76.90 (shipped). Purchasing this set from anywhere else online is going to cost you at least $99 according to the poster (Shazoo) who submitted this deal on Buckscoop. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t know a young girl these days who isn’t absolutely crazy about all things Frozen?
Expire estimate is on the 06/03/2015
Bendon Lingerie – 25% Off Promo code (on Two or More Full-priced Items)
This one is just in time for Valentines Day in case some of you guys out there are scratching your heads for ideas of what to get your other half. Bendon Lingerie have released a 25% off promo code which can be used when you buy two or more full-priced items. The only other exclusion is that it can’t be used on the Stella McCartney range.
As the following deal suggests, going for bras and briefs from the well known Heidi Klum Intimates collection is a good idea as you can now pick up a set for $76 using the code. This avoids the usual price tags of $100 and up for a Heidi Klum set, which you’ll see online currently at the likes of The Iconic, Myer, David Jones and Zodee.

Lite n Easy – Two Free Movie Tickets with Online Order
Last week Lite n Easy also featured in our Wicked Wednesdays roundup although this time round they’ve got two new codes that you should definitely be making use of if you’re thinking of ordering anytime soon. The first is one that entitles you to two free movie tickets when you enter the promo code during checkout. Apparently, within two weeks you’ll be sent a unique code which you then need to activate here: www.liteneasymovies.com.au. These tickets will be valid at villagecinemas.com.au*, www.eventcinemas.com.au or at the ticket box depending on the cinema selected at the time of claiming. Take note, the unique code must be activated before midnight 13th March 2015 and tickets are only valid until 10th May 2015.
The second code entitles you to a free 4 pack of desserts when applying it during the checkout process. I’m not 100% certain of what the minimum spend or order size has to be in order for this to work, so you may need to add a bit more to your cart if it doesn’t work on the first attempt.
1st code Expires on the 21/02/2015 ; 2nd code Expires on the 28/02/2015
Amaysim – 1st Month of Unlimited for $20 Promo Code
Last up is Amaysim who regularly issue codes offering a discount for the 1st month of their “Unlimited” plan, the common value being 50% off. During February, however, you can use their code to pay just $20 for your first month of Unlimited, which considering that it normally costs $44.90 per month, represents a discount of roughly 55%.
So although we’re only talking about a slight improvement in the average discount, it’s the great value for money which Amaysim’s Unlimited plan represents that makes it worth highlighting in this post. Besides the benefits of not being tied to any long term contract as well as receiving unlimited standard calls and SMSs, a big draw card for many smartphone users with this plan is the very generous 5GB of data included as well. Which at $44.90 a month is definitely a competitive option on the market.
It’s also worth pointing out that from next month, apparently, Amaysim will begin providing 4G coverage to its customers. Another important aspect to take into consideration when weighing up the various mobile plans from telcos if you’re thinking of switching plans.
