It’s the week of love and if you haven’t made Valentines Day plans for this weekend yet, then head over to our bargain blog where I’ve written a post giving you a choice of over 30 different money saving Valentines Day experience orientated gifts to choose from.

Weekly Lineup of the Top Australian Freebies (February Week 2)

Getting back to freebies though, looks like Telstra are certainly feeling the love this weekend as they’re giving customers free data usage on Sunday. If that doesn’t quench your freebie thirst (or you’re not a Telstra customer) then don’t worry as we also have freebies including tickets to Open Space in Melbourne, a download copy of a gaming title from an immensely popular game franchise, as well as a way to score extra gigabytes of Google Drive data storage without paying a cent.

Before we get into the above mentioned freebies, I wanted to remind you all of the Buckscoop freebie currently underway. If you happen to find a bargain listed on Buckscoop and end up buying the product/s, share a photo of it on our Facebook page telling us which deal you used and we’ll send you a free $10 eGift card from the Coles & Myer Group. Click here for more details.

Telstra – Valentines Day Mobile Data Freebie

If there is any company that has owned up to its mistakes and deserves a pat on the back so far in 2016, it has to be Telstra. They caused massive disruption when their network went down for several hours on Tuesday 9th February and appear to be sincerely sorry. To make it up to us and compensate us for any inconvenience experienced during this time, Telstra are giving all of customers (personal, business, pre-paid, post-paid, tablet and mobile broadband) free data from 00:00 to 24:00 on February 14th Valentines Day.

Google Drive – 2GB of Google Drive Storage Freebie

If Google wasn’t generous enough with its freebies, then help them celebrate ‘Safer Internet Security Day 2016’ by accepting their 2GB of free storage offer. The process is very easy, simply perform a quick security check involving verifying your contact number, approving that you agree with all of the machines that connect to your Google account and reviewing any apps for removal that you do not trust, and hey presto – your Google Drive quote will automatically be increased by 2GB! Give it up to 12 hours for the additional 2GB to show, (mine showed within 30 minutes but I know others where it took considerably longer).
