Shopbop’s Exclusive Experience with Designer Brands and Fashion Muses

Today I want to introduce you all to a company, which I believe to be great brand and a unique place to shop. In line with our Buckscoop ethos, Shopbop has been fighting money saving battles behind the scenes since the year 2000. It has successfully won the hearts and minds of millions of people, so I believe it’s now time you hear about them to.

Part of their massive growth and success has to do with being bought up by Amazon.com back in 2006. Shopbop offers numerous loved brands such as Calvin Klein down to boutique online styles. Whilst we all love to look good in clothing, I also believe the shopping experience can really define a brand too. I may believe they have a great customer service record, but don’t take it just from me, especially when The Wall Street Journal stated that Shopbop are known to have “the best customer service” around.

Shopbop as I mentioned above, opened its doors in 2000 and has since grown its brand to be a globally recognised and trusted fashion merchant. They pride themselves on selling quality, authentic designer merchandise and since 2006 they have operated and sold their products as part of Amazon.com Inc. group.

We’ve seen them in the past on Buckscoop with the likes of their Calvin Klein deal for example. As they are part of a large multinational corporation, they have the power to agree better bulk buying terms which means they can pass on savings to their customers in the form of lower prices. If you want to see it for yourself, visit their website and compare prices against other average boutique and local store prices.

But, one thing that really stands out for me with Shopbop is that they have such a wide choice of labels available in their range, many of which are hard to find in Australia.

Everyone loves a sale, especially me, so of course I was pleased to find plenty of designer brands reduced by up to 70% off on their site. If that wasn’t good enough, occasionally they have promotions that only push the price tags of designer brands down even further!

Coupon code lovers don’t despair, however, as Shopbop generally run a variety of codes which give on average between 20% to 25% off on selected lines, sales items or orders with minimum spend thresholds. If you can’t shop without a coupon code, you will be happy to know that they release between one and two codes per month. You can keep up to date with their latest codes right here at Buckscoop.

Free express delivery is awarded to orders over $100. Something to be aware of is that your cart total will be displayed in AUD, although your payment will be charged in USD.

Now that we’ve covered the basics on Shopbop, I’m sure you’re dying to know more about what’s available. Well, head over to Shopbop’s ‘Exclusives section’ to find limited edition items from a range of leading designers which can only be found on Shopbop. If that’s not WOW enough for you, then know that their editorial ‘Lookbook’ receives frequent mentions in Vogue magazine, Harpers Bazaar and Elle.

But wait, what about the men I hear you asking? Good question, because Shopbop’s men’s site is separate, but still within the same website and is called East Dane. This can be accessed via the top left of their site where you will see two tabs one called “Shop Women’s” and the other “Shop Men’s”.

DJ and model Chelsea Leyland was last month’s guest editor, appointed Style Muse by Shopbop, and given her own space to showcase her favourite items here. I find this technique really personable and interesting from a consumers point of view.

Plus, Shopbop also have an App (Android and iOS) so you can literally shop till you drop.
