We’re seeing a pick up in activity for The Iconic, ASOS and Showpo which looks like it’s off the back of their current deals and coupons available. Fashion retailers in particular seem to be pushing discount levels harder than most other merchants right now. This makes it a good time to shop for deals and on clothes and accessories.
Below is a summary of some of the top offers at these retailers with a description of applicable promo/coupon codes too which let you maximise your discount potential.
THE ICONIC – Up To 70% Off Sale:
One of the main reasons The Iconic is attracting a lot of attention right now is their “up to 70% off sale”, which follows their recent 50% off sale. There are are also two coupon codes currently active as well worth noting: “15% off when spending $79 or more” and “$25 off when spending $125″ (see codes here). Note, the first code is only valid on full priced items.
Some deals that went up recently are actually cheaper now in this latest sale. For instance, this deal shows you how to get an outfit for $65.39 although with the new discounts you can actually get it for $51.43. The price on this pair of Signature Distressed jeans (by Nan Judy) in this deal are now $95.96, down from $111.96 earlier this week. Elsewhere, you’ll be looking at paying around $160 before shipping for these jeans (including Nana Judy & Friends directly or at Shop Thirteen and GlobalizeOriginal).
Another interesting deal is this one from vikk who combined her find of a Roxy Maxi dress with another deal that was posted on a pair of Spurr thongs. The thongs actually cost less that the shipping charges for having them delivered. So by combining this pair with the dress she’d found on sale, it took her order size over the free shipping threshold of $50. That meant instead of paying $55.93 to have the dress delivered alone, she could get the thongs and dress shipped together for $52.46. More for less effectively, the essence of any good deal.
ASOS – Up To 70% off Plus Extra 10% Off Promo Code:
ASOS Australia have been running an up to 70% off clearance sale to which they yesterday added an extra 10% off promo code on top of. This has made their already competitive prices even more so. The first deal that we saw a lot of activity on, which unfortunately has now sold out, was this Tokyo Laundry boardshorts with thongs offer for just $9.52 shipped.
Looking specifically at what you can get when applying the extra 10% off code to existing sale items, this deal lists a range of cheap items on ASOS’s site that look interesting. Products seem to be selling out pretty quickly though and many of the items listed in the deal are now showing “out of stock” since being posted yesterday. You can still get a range of guy’s scoop neck tees shipped though for only $3.43, jeans for $18.86 as well as variety of cheap accessories like the iPhone 5 Case in digital paint print for $7.71 (these cases usually go for $15-$30 elsewhere) or the 100% cotton iPad Mini sleeve/cover in black for $6.86.
For the ladies there was this deal posted of a pair of New Look Marl White Plimsolls for just $5.14, including shipping of course, after applying the extra 10% off promo code.
Showpo interestingly enough also appears to be attracting a lot of attention, but not as a result of having any valid promo codes – which is what often alerts us to the fact. Instead it looks as though their selection of items being put on sale is proving very popular with customers. Deals that have been submitted on Buckscoop for Showpo include this Nothing to wear t-shirt delivered for $23 as well as this Two to tango black and white dress for $30. Note, Showpo offers free express shipping on all orders to metro areas.
What they seem to be doing incredibly well is engaging with their fan base at a unique level via social media channels. This includes everything from getting them to vote on which model should be the next “face of Showpo”, to regularly asking them for a Facebook like on their preferred choice of outfits/items to stand a chance of winning them.
The latter gives Showpo an enormous amount of insight into exactly what it is the bulk of their customer base if looking for. They seem to be responding very dynamically to this by customising their selection of fashion accordingly. This whole process is helping the company build a very loyal base by giving customers exactly what they want and also including them in certain decisions which help shape the future direction of the business.
We’re looking forward to continue watching them grow over the coming year if they keep up their smart way of thinking about business. The only thing we’d perhaps like to see more of from Showpo is coupon/promo code-based offers instead, as it often allows for stacking with other promotions to expose even greater value in deals.
