Everyone deserves a break so whilst your office comrades enjoy a month of drinks and Christmas parties, it might be worth cashing in on those unused annual leave days you still have with the company.

Expedia may not always be the hotel booking site that offers the cheapest rates on the market. However, right now is probably a good time to use their services due to a 10% off coupon which they currently have active. To show you some examples of where you can get the best hotel rates online by using this coupon, I’ve selected a couple of deals at various locations based on the travel dates Friday 5th to Sunday 7th of December 2014.

Novotel Swan Valley Vines Resort is the first hotel to consider for a long weekend. This family friendly hotel is within a national park and close to Mann Winery, just outside of Perth. Some additional attractions to the area are the Caversham wildlife park and swan valley vines. This hotel has a selection of nice features to enjoy, a golf course, 3 outdoor swimming pools, health club and a spa tub. Outdoor features include BBQ grills, garden and a picnic area. The website Agoda has this long weekend getaway priced at a large $405 per night. Expedia on the other hand have the hotel priced at $293 per night, a cool $112 cheaper than its competitor, whilst other hotel brokerage websites range from $300 per night to $320. So when we factor in the 10% off coupon at Expedia, the total price calculates to be $293 x 2 = $586 – 10% = $527.4. Expedia is essentially cheaper than market prices by roughly $29 per night.

Good Time to Book Your Hotel Through Expedia Using Their 10% off CouponIf Perth is the opposite side of the country for you and Adelaide is more within your reach, then a long weekend away at the Hilton Adelaide should be enough to justify those remaining annual leave days. As with all Hilton hotels, you can expect all the mod cons to maximise enjoyment during your stay. Choose from an array of features within the hotel such as its Brassiere, Deli, bar, outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness centre, two spa pools and two saunas. If you are looking for more of an outdoor experience, then their tennis court surrounded by a short jogging track should provide ample amounts of room to stretch your legs. Hotelopia have a high price of $274 per night to stay at this Hilton, whereas Expedia and a host of other brokerage websites have the hotel priced at $193 per night. But when you factor in the 10% coupon code you get the room for $173.70 per night, almost $20 less per night.

Good Time to Book Your Hotel Through Expedia Using Their 10% off CouponHowever, if the above two options are not suitable due to location and you happen to be closer to Sydney, then potentially staying at the 4 star Hermitage Sydney hotel is more practical. This contemporary styled hotel has plenty to offer you on your break away, with an outdoor pool, steam room and fitness centre to relax in. Come the evening if you feel like venturing out to see Sydney nightlife, you need only walk a stones throw away to find yourself within the heart of the buzzing restaurants and bar scene. All brokerages have this highly rated hotel competitively priced at $152 per night. So for the two nights away your total bill will come to $304, which ever website you choose. But with the Expedia coupon code you will bring this price down to a total of $273.60, cheaper than you will find from any other hotel booking website.

So with these sporadically placed hotels, I have hoped to give our readers from across Australia a glance at some of the better hotel deals available at the moment through Expedia. If none of these locations are suitable and you happen to find another deal using the 10% discount, then please feel free to share your discoveries in the comments section below.
