Talk about national embarrassment, Woolworths have only just released their new loyalty programme when it once again gets dropped like a lead balloon. Certain airlines are known to charge customers up to $8.50 in credit card fees despite their payment providers only charging them $0.95 in some cases. Woolworth’s Brings Back Qantas Points to Loyalty Scheme

Posted by on April 13, 2016 at 8:23 AM

Qantas points are back and Woolworths is beginning its roll out of the long awaited (and missed) points scheme. A decision that previously saw the supermarket lose a chunk of customers could now reverse that cycle, or so Woolworths hope. Customers who used to enjoy saving money on flights by shopping at their local supermarket became disgruntled when the chain stopped offering Qantas points last year. In December however, the food retailer decided to bring the scheme back under a new three-year deal.

Woolworths Brings Back Qantas Points to Loyalty Scheme

Customers will now have the choice to convert 10 Woolworths Dollars earned via the purchase of orange-ticketed items, into 870 Qantas points. This information was sent out to a select number of the supermarket’s rewards program mailing list over the weekend, but how will this change affect the chain’s struggling market position?

Posted by on May 9, 2015 at 9:21 AM

Posted by on May 4, 2015 at 8:32 PM

Travelling with airlines, for many, is one of the most stressful experiences, even if you get yourself to check-in and boarding on time.  Australian Airlines Crack Down on Baggage Allowances – Know your Limits

To dampen the mood for travellers even further, airlines are now cracking down on hand baggage and suitcase allowances again.
